Eren in Greece
LONG-TERM LOCAL INTEGRATION
Greece can draw on a significant amount of wind and solar power. With solar irradiation 50% higher than in Germany for instance, and with considerable wind speeds in certain areas of the country, Greece offers ideal technical conditions for long-term investment in renewable energy.
Making use of its excellent knowledge of the country, the renewable energies market and key stakeholders, EREN has demonstrated an ability to develop and invest in profitable and low-risk solar and wind power projects in Greece. With a team based in Athens that boasts significant expertise on the entire value chain, EREN owns some 155 MW of photovoltaic and wind assets either in operation or under construction, as well as a pipeline of over 100 MW.
